The dashboardAnalytics

Configure analytics

Tune your Zappush analytics: assign events to funnel stages, rename them for the dashboards, and turn on optional quiz and lead-gen funnel modules.

Configure analytics is where you tell Zappush how to read your store's events. You assign each event to a funnel stage, give it a friendly name, and turn on optional dashboard modules. Get this right once and your funnel and Events screens read cleanly for everyone.

Unlike the analytics dashboards, this is a settings screen, so it has no time range. You will find it in two places under settings, both in the Workspace tier: Settings → Workspace → Tracking for the stage configuration, and Settings → Workspace → Dashboard for the modules.

Event Stage Configuration

This table assigns every event Zappush has seen in your store to a stage in the funnel. Standard events arrive with sensible defaults already applied; you only need to touch this to override a default or to classify a custom event you send.

Each row has four columns:

  • Event is the raw event name. Standard events are marked as such, with their default stage noted.
  • Stage is where the event belongs in the funnel: Top (early browsing), Engage (intent, like adding to cart), Convert (checkout and purchase), or the dash to leave it unclassified. Unclassified events still get tracked; they just do not appear in the staged funnel views.
  • Display name is the friendly label shown on the dashboards instead of the raw event name. Leave it blank to use the default.
  • Order is a number that sets where the event sits within the journey. Lower numbers come first. This controls the top-to-bottom order in the funnel and the "Funnel order" sort on the Events screen.

The compliant-page steps, including the automatic redirect that sends shoppers from your compliant page to your store (shown as Compliant redirect (automatic)), are already classified as Top-of-funnel by default, so the funnel reflects the opt-in flow without any setup.

Make your changes, then click Save event stages. A note tells you when you have unsaved changes.

If an event is missing from this table, your store has not sent it yet. Trigger it once (for example, complete a test checkout) and it will appear here, ready to classify.

Dashboard Modules

Modules add optional, store-specific funnels to your overview and drop-off analysis. Each module has a toggle; turn it on and a few fields appear so you can wire it to the events in your store. Pick events from the dropdowns, which list the events your store actually sends.

Quiz Funnel

Tracks a quiz from start to completion. This is what powers the Quiz abandonment card in drop-off analysis.

  • Start event (required) is the event that fires when a shopper begins the quiz.
  • Complete event (required) is the event for finishing or submitting the quiz.
  • Bridge event (optional) is a step in between, such as an email submit.
  • Label (optional) is the name shown for the module.

Lead Gen Funnel

Tracks a lead-capture flow from the form view to the lead submit.

  • Lead view event (required) is the event for viewing the lead form.
  • Lead submit event (required) is the event for submitting the lead.
  • Bridge event (optional) is an intermediate step.
  • Label (optional) is the name shown for the module.

Required fields are marked with an asterisk. Make your changes, then click Save modules.

Modules depend on the events you select existing in your store. If a dropdown shows no events yet, send the relevant action through your store first so the event appears, then return here to wire up the module.
