Connect your store
Create your Zappush account and connect your store, whether you run on Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom website.
This is step one. You will create your account, then connect the store you want to track. How you connect depends on your platform, so follow the section that matches your store.
1. Create your account
- Go to app.zappush.com and sign up with your email.
- Check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code and enter it.
- Zappush creates your organization and your first workspace automatically. You will land on a short setup wizard that asks which platform your store runs on.
Use a work email you check often. Zappush sends important account and delivery notifications there, including the moment a domain you are verifying goes live.
2. Choose your platform
In the setup wizard, pick the platform that matches your store: Shopify, WordPress / WooCommerce, or Custom website. Then follow the matching section below.
Shopify
With Shopify you do not paste any code. Zappush installs tracking for you. There are two ways to start, and both end in the same place.
From the Shopify App Store
- Install Zappush from the Shopify App Store and approve the access it requests.
- You are handed to Zappush to create your account or log in. If you already have a Zappush account, your store connects to it; if not, you make one in a moment.
- Your store is now linked, and you continue straight into setup.
From Zappush
- Sign up at app.zappush.com and choose Shopify in the wizard.
- Enter your store's domain. You can type just the name, for example
acme, and Zappush completes it toacme.myshopify.com. - Accept the terms, then continue. Zappush sends you to Shopify to authorize the app, then brings you back to setup with your store linked.
Either way, once the connection completes your tracking is live. Page views, product views, cart actions, and purchases start flowing without any code on your side.
During setup you are asked to turn on data sharing. Turning it on lets Zappush read your orders and customers so your analytics are complete, with attribution, lifetime value, and full customer profiles. It is optional, and you can turn it on later from settings, but enabling it up front gives you a richer dashboard from day one.
Next: Connect Meta. You can skip the install step, since Shopify tracking is automatic.
WordPress / WooCommerce
The cleanest WooCommerce setup uses the Zappush for WooCommerce plugin, which adds reliable server-side conversions and connects your store without editing your theme.
- Choose WordPress / WooCommerce in the wizard.
- Install the Zappush for WooCommerce plugin on your WordPress site.
- In the plugin, start the connection. It opens a Zappush screen titled Connect WooCommerce.
- If you belong to more than one workspace, pick the workspace to connect to, then choose the WordPress store you want to link.
- Click Connect this store. The plugin saves the connection and closes.
If you cannot use the plugin, you can still track your site by adding the script tag by hand. See Install the tracker.
Custom website
Use this for anything that is not Shopify: headless stacks, static sites, page builders, and custom builds.
- Choose Custom website in the wizard.
- Enter your site's name and URL, for example
Example Wellnessandhttps://example.com. - Continue. Zappush creates your store and a default route, and gives you a tracking snippet.
Next: Install the tracker to add that snippet to your site.
You'll know it worked when
Your store appears in the dashboard and the setup wizard moves you forward. For Shopify, the Setting up your store screen completes and hands you to the next step. For a custom site, you are handed a tracking snippet to install next.
